This two-layer waterproof shell jacket is finished with a water-repellent treatment, too, preventing saturation and helping to maintain the fabric's breathable qualities. Other details also help maintain bad-weather protection. The front zip is covered by a Velcro® storm flap so water can't sneak in. The hood, which stows in the collar, can be cinched tight.
